Morning all.

We are going to start now with a go through the house, starting from the front door.

First though, are you dressed to the shoes?
Do you know what you are doing today, and is dinner planned (meat out of the freezer, know you have the ingredients etc.

Take a few minutes to put away any coats and shoes that are around. Are there any that are dirty, broken or don't fit. Deal with them.

In the dinning room pick up a bin bag and collect any rubbish, or bits of paper that may be lurking there.

If you notice anything you need, for cleaning or cooking write it on a shopping list, and keep near the pc. (or start a new document, and print it out when needed!)

We have a little whiteboard on the kitchen door, where I can put the things we've got low on or run out of. Then before shopping, I transfer that list to the back of an old envelope.

Have to admit, I am NOT one of those folk who wander round in their nightie and dressing gown first thing. I don't sleep in a nightie, therefore I need to get all my clothes on first thing or I would bloddy-well FREEZE! Plus, because there are outside chores to be done at first light, I have to be dressed for those.

Better get out that binbag though, and to be honest I need to start in the kitchen where chaos reigns!

I've emptied all the kitchen bins, including the compost, tidied the utility, made the soup for lunch and sorted out dinner. Do I get a gold star? Very Happy

right anyway...

yes, i'm dressed, but no shoes as we don't wear shoes indoors.

i've done what i'm doing today and dinner is planned and defrosting (homemade curry out the freezer)

shoes and coats - done

don't have a dining room (or even a dinner table), but i'll sort out the coffee table after j's nap.

went shopping this morning, so we have everything!

and i've done 2 loads of washing and whiped the kitchen work surfaces and hob.

i feel like a very good girl now!
