Just realised I haven't posted this yet.
Get ready now for a jolly good chuck out.
We are going to do it for 3 weeks.
I am not going to say where, that is going to be up to you, but come on and post what you are up to.
I am going to get my upstairs office sorted.
Becki has seen how bad it is!
There is a big walk in cupboard at the end, with some clothes hanging there that have never been touched since we have been here. All my craft stuff is in there, loads of things for the loft, the remnants of Christmas wrapping, and various bits of junk too.
I may be some time.
I also want to sort the spare bedroom.
If I have time I will tackle my wardrobe, the filing cabinet, the pile of magazines in the kids lounge (mine) and get the accounts up to gether, and do the VaT. |

All of mine and t's clothes are done - so i'm ahead of you there! we have bags full for charity and a few things for ebay. j's clothes are also sorted - too small things i need to keep put away and a few things i don't like put in the ebay bag (literally just a few!)
tomorrow i need to tackle under our bed. then have another look through the books (although i doubt there are many if any to get rid of) and that's our bedroom done!
t did the videos today as well. most to go to charity.
the loft is the biggy here - especially as only t can go up there. he'll have to show me things through the hatch. maybe next weekend! _________________ Aqui, T and Baby Jack!

I find I never have much spare time , thats my problem, as I work full time. My whole house wants sorting out, and I have loads of stuff to chuck out. I will try to do some tomorrow afternoon, as that is the only spare time I will have this weekend, as we`ll be visiting my parents on sunday. _________________ Lyn |

Before the boys went back to uni we went through their clothes cupboards and sorted out 2 huge bin bags full of clothes that they both said that they wouldn't wear again. I drove them straight to the salvation army recycling unit to get them out of the house _________________ www.overthegate.co.uk |

I did most of the clearing out when we moved but I do need to sort my desk drawers as it was moved with the jumble still in it. |

I don't mind what you do, or where you do.
Shed, garage, sideboard.....whatever.
Just do 1/4 hour a day. That is all.
Set a timer, make sure you do not get distracted and sort out and chuck out.
Even though I had a sort through over Christmas I know there are places that I closed the door on, rather than had a good sort through.
This isn't an excuse thread now, it is an action thread.
1/4 hour is not much time, even if you work outside of the home.
My first 1/4 hour will be spent |

Keep on going.
How is the de cluttering going. Can you see a nice little area finished. Try to concentrate on very tiny bits at a time, not think "I need to get the whole house done"
For me, todays task, I think, unless it is raining, is to sweep up the feed area before I put the the new feed in.
Keep going, it will be worth it. |
