A bit like Kathy's thread, we're now selling smoked foods online. Mainly cheeses but also garlic, seeds, nuts, oil, sweetcorn etc. What would be a good name do you think?

I wondered about such names as Simply Smoked, or Pure and Simple, that kind of thing? Confused

It's smoking (would be better if you could hear the voice I was thinking of it in!)

Were there lots of health & safety or licensing hoops to jump through to be able to sell food Lloyd?

As for names...

Chats with local Environmental Health were really useful, and subject to checks on hygiene, procedures etc it was a doddle. They take the view of wanting to help micro business and give loads of encouragement. If we do retail not wholesale it's easier too, as less requirement for detailed labelling. Smoking enhances the product life, as does the vac packing, and the natural antiseptic / antimicrobial properties of smoke assist with sterility too.

I like Smoky Delights....... Cool
