Beading?
Thought I'd bump this forum up, it's been lagging behind a bit! Wasn't someone knitting beads into a shawl and Becki, are you still making jewelery?

Jacky is knitting beads into a shawl. I sometimes knit beads onto wire but haven't done so for awhile Confused

I'm currently working on a cross-stitch picture which has beads incorporated into it.  I've never added beads before, but I think I can work out how to do it...I'll post a picture when it's done (but it won't be for a while.... Smile )

'Tis indeed a kit - you can see it here:

http://www.superstitcher.com/prod...px?pid=6020&cid=45&sid=46

but I bought it at a needlecraft exhibition I went to recently.  It's for my Mum's birthday 'cos she loves cats and she loves poppies and it jumped out at me as being perfect for her!  The beads are on the stamens of the larger poppies...I'm really enjoying doing it - I haven't done any cross stitch for ages (apart from a certain little cat picture of course... Wink )

Oh dear Becki, you have to remember your artistic side, get some more stuff ordered and take control!

Lizzie, that cross stitch is lovely, looking forward to the photos.  Smile
