I know people who use any oranges, think there would be a difference in the taste though. |

You can use ordinary oranges - just won't have such a sharp taste as the Sevilles. Or you can do lemon marmalade, or lemon and orange, or add ginger, or three fruits with grapefruit too, or manderin or lime or . . . One of the best ideas I heard was from - I think - Margeurite Patten, who suggested every time you ate an orange, to put the peel in a bag in the freezer, and then you could turn them into marmalade when you had enough (very good idea too). _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/ |

OR - you could REALLY cheat and buy a can of Mamade marmalade base - it's just the chopped fruit, no preservatives or nasties - all you do is add sugar and water and it sets an absolute dream. _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/ |
