This weather is useless for drying clothes outside and the tumble drier is Out Of Bounds!
Have lit the wood burner the last few nights and been drying clothes in front of it on an airer.
Would like to install a ceiling mounted airer. I think they only go up and down but his lloydiness is convinced there are ones that can withdraw backwards when not in use as its in the living room..
Is it one like this you mean. They look pricey on that site, I'm sure I've seen them cheaper elsewhere.
I've got long lines out the back but found a space to put a rotary drier which Greenman is going to put a shelter over, just like having clothes out on a covered balcony really. They've got this down at the cafe to dry aprons and dish towels, works a treat as the wind gets to them without the rain.
I must admit I quite fancy having one in the kitchen, but having a solid fuel rayburn, it would I imagine get quite dirty!? Like the tops of mu cupboards, becuase of ash and coal dust etc!!?? _________________ "If we reduce the amount of stuff we allow to accumulate in our lives, we won't have to organise it"
