Does anyone wear them and if so how do you buy them?

I do, when I am skiing, which reminds me, I must start them off again.

I have been on a contract with them, but to be honest that isn't really worth it, as I didn't keep up wearing them last year.  Due to the fact that I lost them for a while then got out of the habit.

At the moment T wears them and we get 20 pairs a month for £28.90 but I have to go into Chippenham to collect them. I just wondered if anyone got them online at all?

We got ours from the local optician - £16.00 per month for the two of us, which covers an annual eye test and new pair of lenses plus one replacement pair per year if we lose them.

You can get them online from Postoptics but I've never tried them...they do loads of funky patterned ones too  Cool

Sorry can' t help - I wear gas permeable ones - have done for many years.  In fact I got my first pair of contact lenses when they were first on sale to the public - and a consultant had to come from London for a clinic in the opticians.

They were 30 guineas - a huge price then - and I was 16 and earned £6 2s 6d a week!

I had to have them 'on terms' Very Happy  Very Happy

Yes - so you remember then too huh?  Not guinea fowl.

Funny thing was that it seemed an old term then - but the specialist was from Harley street. Laughing  Laughing

Now you can get them anywhere!
