Please anyone pray do tell me...

The OH wanted to grow some courgettes... so 5 days ago I planted some F1 Tri Colour (round type) and normal ones to see if we have any luck with them well...  Shocked

Here's a pick just 5 days on from seed I can't belive it! Is this normal for them to sprout up so quickly?  Laughing

Sorry for the poor picture but their growing in my homade greenhouses (tonic water bottles... I'm forced to drink Gin so I can make mini propergators  Wink  Laughing )

Male flowers just have stalks, female flower stalks have fruit.

In warmth they grow vey quickly.....as they have sprouted I would take the plastic off (you don't want to lose them to fungal disease) and when they are ready to plant out (about 4 inches high), don't forget to harden them off. Smile

P.s.....they won't flower for a few weeks yet!  Wink
