My late father in law made a fantastic dolls house for my stepdaughter - it was just lovely, but it's suffered the bashings of two generations of children and it's looking rather shabby now....we made little tapestry rugs for it, which was fun!

Do you make miniature things for them polgara?  They always remind me of Alice in Wonderland  Very Happy

my mum had a dolls house that all the grand daughters played with when we went to stay with our Nana. After she died, mum went to collect it and it had gone  Sad  her brother (an alcoholic) had sold it  Sad

Yes I don`t make furniture, but I like to do little things for decoration etc.  Very calming, well it is if all the plans come together.  I have 2 houses, one each for the grandaughters when I curl up my toes, one is a miniature Georgian house, the other is an "if we like it, we`ll have it" type house.  I reall love them.  Once a year I spend a whole day with a computer type vacuum cleaner & a duster & everything comes out.  What fun.   Razz

I  am fascinated by them, its like entering the world of Narnia.

Perhaps one day I may be lucky enough to have one; I would love to design and decorate one on a WW2 Homefront theme  Very Happy
