Okay, the flowers are out, so who's collecting and brewing?....We're gathering ours tomorrow.....2 pints of flowers per gallon by my reckoning. Wink

We gathered elderflowers three weeks ago and the results are looking promising.

I need to pick some more for cordial before the season has passed.

Did anyone read the article in the Daily Mail last week about elderflower wine and cordial being the latest fashion? Apparently sales are up massively. Why don't people just go out pick, and make their own. Much cheaper Cool

The elderflower seems to be coming along nicely, bubbling gently away in a corner of the snug.

Trouble is, it absolutely pongs, smells like a tomcat has paid a visit Mad
