Sorry not to have been about for a while, trying to cope with some pretty heavy duty dramas!  Sad

How many folk do you know who have just lost their jobs?  We have our first family casulty! Crying or Very sad

The restaurant where my daughter and her man wored closed at the w/e.  Poor lass, she and her man came back from two weeks holiday to hell on earth!  Both of them out at once.  Now they are faced with an obligatory home move too to down size the rent!

No job prospects either till the new year, so it will be a long, cold, hard Christmas this end, unless we get some good news soon !  Confused

CP's in the same boat, working out the last of her redundancy now, without having managed to find new employment.......................

My son lost his job two Fridays ago, and managed to start a new job yesterday.  He's not sure about it though.  Bearing in mind it was his first day yesterday, and he didn't know a thing or anybody, one of the bosses came up to him today and told him that they expect more work out of him than they got on the first day!!!!   What's this bloke on?? If you don't know the job how can you do it until you have been taught.  The person teaching him, was the bosses wife!!!!!!!!  He told Neil that he was willing to let it slide this once???   I suppose these people know that they can replace him if they don't like him.
