Foggy and miserable, but the weather forecast says it should brighten up!

Can't remember if Jacky said she was coming today or not, but have put the bread on just in case  Laughing

Busy weekend as we need to bring in the tropicals, so a few trips to the tip with the cut back banana leaves will be needed!!

Another good night  Very Happy  but I feel like death, probably all catching up with me  Rolling Eyes

Morning all  Very Happy

We've got sunshine this morning - you must have the weather we've had for the last two days Libby!

The big meeting at work didn't happen yesterday but will, apparently, happen today.  It's all just horrid here now - lots of Chinese whispers and little huddles of people muttering.  Just yuk!  There was a job advertised in our local paper yesterday for a part time administrator at the high school.  I've *always* wanted to be a school secretary (dunno why... Laughing ) so I might apply for that.  I don't especially want a new job right now, but I probably won't get it anyway and if I did, I think I'd enjoy it.  The head teacher is an old boyfriend of mine....

OH is helping at a steam and vintage tractor rally all weekend so I have some time to myself.  I think I'm going to a fabric sale with my sister tomorrow and on Sunday, I just *must* do some housework - it's all becoming a bit of a health hazard  Embarassed

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Oh Lizzie would that be allowed to work with an old boyfriend? Well good luck with the application.

The sun is shinning here, Ive delivered girls, shopped, washed up, done one load of washing, done the banking and written and posted cards. I also visited a friend who has just lost her sister I took flowers and chocolate.
Ive written up some revision its mainly a case of writing it up to try and get it to stick (Latin names for insect species.....)

So two minutes break before hubby is home for lunch.

Have a good day all.

not a bad day up here though grey till about 3...

not much to report, a new volunteer with her family appeared today so mr nanny took charge of them while myself and the normal friday person got on with photographs and adoption bits and pieces...

after lunch i got a chance to ride ebony again in the school, really a nice moment- hoping that i might be able to ride her out in the not too distant future

heard from the groom today, she has been diagnosed as having the dreaded swine flu and the doctor has signed her off for 2 weeks...mr nanny checked the website last night and he reckons that we have had it as well only in a milder form i suppose.....

so that means that he will get no time off for 2 weeks unless the trustees will sanction getting someone in for a day or so during the time period...tomorrow and sunday someone is popping in as he has a couple of trimming jobs but other than that, it looks like a long haul....

Out all morning, new glasses to pick up, chainsaw bits an bobs to get and look for a secondhand computer desk. Came home to see to the animals, all takes so much longer now Coco is working and Ozzie needs special treatment. then it was a quick tidy round and tea time.
Hope Mr Nanny gets a bit of respite Nanny.
