We have a TV in our bedroom and it is so old, but has been a boon as its very repairable, still works too, anyway I found a Hitachi 17 inch screen with 2 scart lead connections on Freecycle so went and got it so now I can connect my DVD player to it cos sometimes its nice to snuggle up in bed and watch a film!!! _________________ "If we reduce the amount of stuff we allow to accumulate in our lives, we won't have to organise it"

a) there's nowhere to put one and

i know what you mean jc....without my glasses i can't read a book in bed so i wouldn't see the telly on the other side of the room
and anyway i don't agree with telly in the bedroom.....a radio yes but not the telly, don't need the haunted gold fish bowl in every room

I managed to get a complete set of video's of "Men Behaving Badly" from Freecucle, so promptly set up the tv / video / dvd player in the bedroom, then last night CP and I had a duvet moment and watched the first 20 or so episodes.
