Where I can get a sewing pattern for a child's waistcoat ASAP? Ben's school sent home a letter yesterday saying he needs a waistcoat and bow tie to do the Dorset ring dance in. I misread the letter and assumed it was for the May Fair, and so ordered a pattern from the sewing shop in town. It will take two weeks to arrive.
Now I've re-read the letter and it's for a display on 15th March! I looked on ebay to no avail, but I thought someone might know of a dealer who might have one.
Also any where I could get a scrap of really nice fabric for the front.

I've got a set of books about knitting sewing etc, there's a few patterns in it so I'll have a look in a mo. I'll also check up the stairs see if I've got any fabric, my stuff is all over the place just now but I do recall seeing a bag up there this morning! Laughing

I've only got a pattern for a gents waistcoat, if you don't find anything else would you be able to scale it down?
The bag of cloth upstairs is all plain but I'm sure I've got some fancy stuff up the attic. If no one else comes up with some I'll be able to go up tomorrow for a look, I need to sort it out into boxes anyway and this will make me do it! Laughing

I think I can scale up from a tiny little waistcoat I'd forgotten we still had. Thanks for the offers though. I still need to find some lovely material.
