I got the BHS complete Horse and Pony Care book for Christmas and it is very good, particually if you are a first time horse owner/buyer, or need to refresh your knowledge.
That looks like a nice book Becki I didn't realise just how much I've forgotten about keeping horses. I might add that to my birthday wish list it will probably make useful reading
I've got a stash of horsecare books if anyone would like to borrow them. I can't quite squeeze a horse in the garden as well as everything else at the moment!
i have a lot of horsey type books too.......i mainly keep them as ref books now......ailments, natural healing for horses etc......cant remember the last time i looked at one tho.....but that is a good sign.....all fit and well here..... _________________ life is so short, you have to embrace every opportunity that comes your way, even if you only try it once.
I still have all of mine from the last 50 years of collecting - not that I'm a hoarder, you understand! I prefer the antiquarian ones these days though. _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/

they say if you keep something for seven years, in that time if you have not found a use for it....throw it...... _________________ life is so short, you have to embrace every opportunity that comes your way, even if you only try it once.
