Now that Fabric Warehouse has shut down (countrywide?  Not sure) I am stuck for somewhere to buy material, as the Market is about to be knocked down too . . .  Middle daughter wants me to make her a throw to match an embroidered Indian cushion she has.  I'm not sure where to look for the appropriate material - any suggestions?  My son did say he'd seen a stall selling Indian materials in the market in Sheffield, so that's a possibility when I take our eldest daughter back to Uni, but that won't be until September.

I've had this problem too Bovey, all my family like the Indian/ethnic fabrics. Having said that I've never really had a proper look for a suppliers. I've friends who wear traditional clothing so I'll start making a concerted effort to find material.

If you can get to a big-ish city, you could try looking for a sari shop ... other than that, online maybe?
