My card supply has really gone down because of moving etc so now I'm settled in a bit more I have started to make a few bits.

The cards and bookmarks sold really well at Alison's B&B last year so at the moment I'm concentrating on Thank you cards and Birthday ones, and Childrens. I havn't any beads left for the bookmarks and the profit margin is very low, even selling them at £5. Should I put the price up or not do them this year?

Anyone else started on anything?

Here is a small picture of the bookmark for those of you that wern't here when I did this, the original idea was Leonie's and she had a better picture but it's gone.

Third time lucky at this!

I have been making ATCs lately - little works of 'art' 2 and a half inches wide by 3 and a half inches high.

You could use them as toppers for cards - or swap them for ones made by others.

They are on my website - you can find them on the link on the right hand side under Categories - then Artist Trading Cards and ATC swaps.

Here are a few to give you an idea.

This is one I painted freehand. But you can do anything - you don't have to paint them.

This one is a vintage print which I have tinted with inks and stamped a background.

This is a collage of torn up paper, I tinted the photo, and guilded around the edges. The tulips I cut out and coloured.

Anyone fancy a go? You can stamp them, ink them, make them out of material, anything. Fun to do and quite relaxing

They are actually smaller than the large ones you see on screen!

Nope not in the slightest bit clever - but I am enjoying messing around. You could do them - you have lots of sticky on things and all sorts of stamps.

This is my latest experiment - but I did manage to splash myself with the hot enamel Rolling Eyes

I painted the papers for the background and tinted the photo. The butter flies are just ones I cut out of a magazine. I then stuck all the bits on and enamelled it, the enamelled the top butterfly and stuck it on.

A bit hit and miss though Laughing

They always look better in real life.

I'm a bit like you were Becki, too many boxes and stuff packed away so the card crafts will have to wait till I move now.

Lottie those are lovely, quite frustrating not being able to do anything just now. Smile

Well I made 3 this afternoon, not very productive but nice and relaxing. 2 of them were made nearly completely out of freebies that came with a magazine. It might be worth buying it all the time if it's as good as those were Very Happy I feel I've achieved more with those 2 than the other one !

No projects here at the moment - I've been putting off the dreaded tiling for too long! Laughing

Ooh, must recount and update my total.
