My card supply has really gone down because of moving etc so now I'm settled in a bit more I have started to make a few bits.
The cards and bookmarks sold really well at Alison's B&B last year so at the moment I'm concentrating on Thank you cards and Birthday ones, and Childrens. I havn't any beads left for the bookmarks and the profit margin is very low, even selling them at £5. Should I put the price up or not do them this year?
Anyone else started on anything?
Here is a small picture of the bookmark for those of you that wern't here when I did this, the original idea was Leonie's and she had a better picture but it's gone.
Nope not in the slightest bit clever - but I am enjoying messing around. You could do them - you have lots of sticky on things and all sorts of stamps.
This is my latest experiment - but I did manage to splash myself with the hot enamel
I painted the papers for the background and tinted the photo. The butter flies are just ones I cut out of a magazine. I then stuck all the bits on and enamelled it, the enamelled the top butterfly and stuck it on.
Well I made 3 this afternoon, not very productive but nice and relaxing. 2 of them were made nearly completely out of freebies that came with a magazine. It might be worth buying it all the time if it's as good as those were I feel I've achieved more with those 2 than the other one ! _________________ The Card Bee
