ive just been given a landmaster 'mechanicle hoe(rotavator)' it has a villiers engine,it isnt seized,so what should i do to get it running? anyone got a workshop manual that can be scanned and sent to me?

yer a handy chap to know,the place that i got the landmaster from has tons of old machinery,even a huge grass cutter with a kickstart! there was another rotavator there that had paddles instead of wheels,big one too! Very Happy

where about did you go fish / and i think the mower with the kick start had it in the middle of the rear drive shaft . you set the throttle and then kick down hard on the lever . its a villiers single cylinder engine if memory serves .its a model more famous for having aseat attached and used for doing bowling lawns abnd cricket wickets if you go again maybe take a camera with you please, always on the look out for old machine pics , and machines
