The beginning of another week........................ so what have you got planned?

BF goes today, he has been so much easier to have around than the other BF!!!!!!!! and theres still food left!!!!!!

Want to remove two tree stumps but not sure thats such a good idea just yet!!! Other than that its re-directing a path down the garden, en-larging the chicken run and replanting plants!!!

Hope its a good one for you!!! Very Happy

Hubby's birthday today, an extremely expensive month.

Our Swiss student arrived yesterday so we visited the beach last night, she was awe struck. They are land locked.

Sailing later today and RDA this morning, have a good one all.

Elderflower Cordial today as T has requested I make LOTS of it for her.  I want to make Elderflower Wine too and had better give my Sloe Wine some stirring.  I am NOT using the recipe which calls for you to allow a deep thick mould to form on the top . . .

We have to take little Lucky cat to the vet to as her breathing was rather laboured last night, though she's still eating well.  She is one of my favourites, as I tamed her when she came to us, wild, and desperate for food.  She is quite a character.  She's gone out for the moment so I will have to book her an appointment for this afternoon.

Despite being exhausted yesterday, I couldn't get to sleep last night and lay there tossing and turning for hours, so I feel like a heap of doo-dah this morning . . .

Hope Samson is better soon Becki.

Morning all  Very Happy

I need to make Elderflower cordial too when I get a minute....

It's another lovely day here, after the battering we got yesterday with the wind and rain it's like a different country this morning!

I've had a pretty lazy weekend (i.e. no painting!) but will be back to the grindstone today - at my desk until 4.00 then shopping then home then out to visit Mum and Dad to discuss more painting!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Morning all, sun is shining.  Smile

Hope Lucky is ok Bovey, has she had problems before?

TGM, we don't "do" big pressies here, a few chocolate gingers for Mr Kathy last year. Any extra money gets spent on things like chainsaws and the like!  Laughing Wish your hubby Many Happy Returns.  Very Happy

Libby, don't go straining yourself again.

We've a few elder flowers ready too, Greenlady has "plans" for them!

Mr Kathy and Coco have gone to get the horses moved to the next field, it needs to be eaten down before Maggie comes up. It involves lots of tape shifting (and swearing by Mr Kathy) but that'll be them for the summer months then, no more moving around. I'll be dog grooming, cleaning the hall and stairs, (my chore on the rota for this week) and getting some laundry done.

Don't work too hard at the office Jellycat.  Smile

Libby - hope you're being sensible and not doing too much!

Happy Birthday Mr TGM! (T and I set a limit for how much we are allowed to spend on each other for xmas and b'days - it's always very low, like £30. Especially now all three of our birthdays fall within a month!)

BB - thick mold - yuck! hope Lucky is ok.

JC - are you sick of painting?

Kathy - how nice to have a rota! (but then I suppose I need adult children for that!)

We didn't do much yesterday after saturday night - went for a walk - very windy, but sunny.

Today - dashed around like a loney before estate agent arrived for photos. it's frighteningly tidy! Then mum and dad were over, and mum helped me with a bit of weeding. still loads to do of course!

Not the best of news - she has a heart murmur (hardly surprising as she is at least 15 and possibly a year or two older).  She has to go in for blood tests tomorrow to check out her thyroid so they can prescribe the medication more accurately.  So feeling a bit down, not helped by a stroppy daughter who shall remain un-named, who I would happily give away to a passing gypsy right now . . .

Maggie was as good as gold when I led her out (for about an hour this morning), even though we kept meeting BIG farm traffic on our narrow hill.  Itsy wasn't in the mood and had to be dragged around, which was NOT much fun and a bit pointless as we didn't see ONE car and it was meant to be getting her used to traffic as much as anything!

Have abandoned the family tonight and feel like going for a very long solitary walk . . .
