I got J a Peter Pan dressing up outfit in Woolies today for a bargain price of £15. I was really chuffed. hey were doing 3 for 2 but I couldn't think of anyone else to give one to. Hows everyone else doing? I am nearly finished now, got some bits and bobs to get for teachers etc, but nearly there!

I am still making things - so a way to go yet! But it is good and very satisfying.

Agh! Maybe I can do some internet shopping: This week might be a good idea (I really have to get some physical rest...). I had plans involving jams, biscuits, candles, and so on, but there is always next year. I've no idea what to buy everyone though Confused

That has never occurred to me to do that! What a jolly good idea.

Have you posted any recipes on any forums for those SL or are they from a book.

Pheasant, duck, patridge and a 'capon' chicken are on my list for Christmad depending on who decides to turn up - my family end up telling me a day or so before, so frozen ready to 'go' ideas are really good.

Shocked Nearly done? Shocked

I like the idea of food we can prepare in advance and freeze, this year we may be cooking for six or sixteen, don't know yet because of family/friends' circumstances.

Either is fine, but a bit of forward planning would take away the last minute panic.

Any ideas anyone?

I could not agree more - best get my 'sensible' head on soon and 'plan', but I am a bit of a 'take it as it comes' person and rustle things up at the 11th hour - so some planning will make a nice change
