Anyone working on a quilt at present? I did my square for the INEBG quilt, and am trying to finish off the hexagon quilt I began last year. Not that stops me picking up the quilting mags in the Newsagents and thinking, Oh, I'd love to make that, and isn't THAT fantastic and . . .

I know what you mean about " quilt dreaming" BB, there are about 5 different quilts I could be working on if I had my way Laughing The the one I'm concentrating on first is the garden/cat quilt, I posted a photo of what it should look like in an earlier thread. I haven't got to sewing stage yet, still collecting scraps of fabric for it. J has outgrown some of her summer dresses so I'm holding onto them to use in the quilt. I don't expect I'll get much sewing done until the end of the year now that the gardening season is getting into swing.

Another of my "to do" things but I won't get started till later on in the year, once we've moved and settled in. I've got plenty of cloth, it's a bit like my wool stash, keeps growing and I'm not keeping up. Embarassed

Have you got photos of your "in progress" one BB?

Quilting is on my things to try list, although I feel quite daunted by it, looks very complicated Confused

It's not that complicated Cabbage, choose an easy project and give it a bash. Honestly, if I can do it anyone can, I'm a person who finds sewing in a straight line a challenge! Very Happy

I've made a few bags using patchwork quilt CP, straight lines as Leonie says so maybe that's something to try to start off with. I just made a rectangle and a long piece for the strap.
