Went for a walk this morning with Jasmine, a friend of mine and the dog on Felixstowe beach. It was great....raining and quite heavy seas. On the way back to the car this rook took a fancy to the dog.....kept flying in front of him then perching and gesturing to the dog to make him take notice...which of course he did'nt being a bit thick in the brain department The rook did'nt give up tho' this carried on for about half a mile or so, dancing and crying out to be noticed. He looked very sad when the dog got in the car! Bless......
Sorry no pic....forgot the camera |

How odd. When I was climbing up Dryslwyn Castle yesterday, the crows (or they may have been rooks, the sun was against me) were making odd noises - like coconut shell horse's hooves noises! I presume to attract a mate - unless they're auditioning for the Archers or something . . . _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/ |
