Might be able to sort you out one for something called a "pomander". I used to do a cheating version where you make the sides with "proper" origami, but then use glue to attach them together to form a ball. PM me if I forget - my book is at a friend's house.

ooh - I remember making those as a kid - you know the rubbishy ones where you fold up a circle of paper and randomly hack bits out of it.
