Afternoon all
It's absolutely blowing a gale outside, and raining horizontally. Very nasty, so I'm hiding indoors while OH goes off to fetch grandbaby #2 who's coming for a sleepover. I've done *most* of the housework so I'm having ten minutes in here before I finish it off. Tomorrow, grandbaby's parents and brother are coming for lunch so I can't leave it until then, what with having to cook and all that. Hope the weather cheers up by then.
Right, I'm off to clean the kitchen sink...

Bloomin foul here too Lizzie, everything is going sideways and the daft hens are pecking away outside looking all bedraggled!
Had a good play on the piano this morning, not played for months so really enjoyed myself. I've also finished off a hat, it's in the machine now getting fulled.
Ozzie had a really bad day yesterday, couldn't walk enough even to pee. He's fine today, very strange, the vet doesn't know what it is.
The fire is loaded with logs, roaring away and I'm getting back to my knitting while I'm on a roll!
dead quiet in here again.....can;t be that everybody is playing outside today....have to say it was pretty foul here as well, blew a hooli for most of the day with the sideways rain thing
have to say i invoked the housewives perogative and once my normal outdoor stuff was done, i disappeared inside and worked on my 5 day wine that i started in march....just a lttle bit behind with that one.....hopefully i can bottle it tomorrow and it won't be lethal....
and i managed to work my way thorugh part of another chapter of the pirate thing...been thinkking about it a while and it sort of came together which was nice....
it helps knowing where i want to get them to in this chapter as the next one was written about 4 years ago....
