Morning all  Very Happy

It's glorious here this morning - when I took the dogs out the sky was crimson and purple and there was mist lying at the bottom of the hill - stunning (and not unlike the forum photo!).  It's noticeably colder though...

Not much to report really, just another day at my desk.  CP, I hope you manage to get through the mountain on your desk and have a brilliant holiday!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

So mild here this morning, although no beautiful sky like you had Lizzie.

The specialist says I must use my knee whether it hurts or not! Apparently it builds up the pain receptors?????? Because if I'm using it they think 'oh it can't be hurting'!!!!?? if that makes sense!!!

So I bubble wrapped the greenhouse yesterday, today I am doing some gardening, then later I may have a go on the WII Fit!!

Helping T dye some thing for Halloween as well!

So staying busy!

Well what a morning, cleared a whole bed (not digging) just all the weeds which have accumalated over the year! Mowed the lawn! Done two loads of washing, taken 10 bags of garden waste to the tip and had a shower then helped T die stuff green!
Now we are doing something to a shirt she wants altering  Rolling Eyes

I have been to Exeter today did a bit of christmas shopping my Mum used a shop mobility scooter and they were really nice. I can't believe it only cost £4 and I got my parking for nothing.

Hope everything is ok for everyone. x

hello all

grey and very warm here today, too warm actually....this time las year we had lovely colours on the trees and this year it has been comparatively dull

took digit back to his home today, he has been here on livery for a while and then was ill as you know so couldn't go home when archie went...he has made a full recovery now and the rest of his herd in his home field were pleased to see him so there was much running round, bucking and generally doing horse things that would be dangerous to humans who get in the way by mistake...

back by 11.30 and lunch was early so that we could both get on with our jobs...mine was bottling the 5 day wine that i started in march some 7 months ago...it seems fine to me if a bit drier than i would like but very drinkable...does make a mess though when you are doing it, no way you ca't get water on the floor and drips  of wine everywhere....i got 28 bottles out of it so it worked out about 85p a bottleif you don't count the cost of the bits that i had to buy, that'll work out somehow...but it spurs me on to make some red now....

tomorrow should be my very first ride out but of course some now wants to come and look at the horse with a view to rehomeit so there goes that idea....tomorrow evening is the black tie do and saturday the people filming the reality show are coming with a load of children to film here..mr nanny has to go and collect the 2 shetland ponies on saturday, bit of a bummer really as i don't reckon i can handle this one on my own- 5 children, 6 adults, all filming these kids doing horsey things...hopefully one of the volunteers will come as well ..or i shall be a bit on the hop till he gets back....

Busy Potties  Very Happy Libby, calm down!  I wonder if Lizzie is counting down now... Cool   Becki, I haven't been to Exeter for years but I remember it being a nice place to visit.  Nansters, busy as usual.  We are hoping to visit again soon..

Lizzie, I did get through most of the work mountain but only after giving the Big White Chief the benefit of my opinion first thing this morning when he announced that I Had Deadlines.   Something like "lack of planning from others is not going to become my emergency.   I will do my  best to get it all done but I'm not prepared to work through my lunchbreak and I WILL be leaving at 4.30pm.  Frankly I'm cheesed off with this and I'm not paid enough for the agro!"

I then left his office, stomped downstairs and waited for my Notice.  Did manage to get most of the work done, have come home with a headache and am very glad to be out of there for ten days.    Wonder if I will have a job to come back home too.......
