A successful crop again this year. I grew them outside, a mixture of types. I picked the last this morning. Some will go in the hot cupboard to ripen and the rest I'm making chutney with. (Note Pheonix curled up in the background!)

Wow! well done, my tomatoes where useless this year, very disappointed with the whole veg plot actually. If it doesn't go well next year I may ditch it!!

Our tomato crop was really quite pathetic this year compared to last, not enough for summer salads let alone green tomato chutney.
Oh well, here's to the next growing season!!! |

| Having had a think, the year before last, our crop was better in the southfacing garden and outside. This year they were mostly in the little greenhouse, east facing. Waste of time. Won't be doing that again. |
