Morning all  Very Happy

Blimey, it's been quiet in here ... everyone been blown away?!

I thought the weather forecast was supposed to be good for this week, but we've got damp, windy and chilly today - I suppose it is nearly November!

We had a nice weekend with grandbaby #2 staying and the rest of his lot to lunch on Sunday.  I managed to get some baking done, which was lovely.  I haven't done any for so long and it felt good to get back to it (and the chocolate cake went down well too!).  Hopefully I'll have more time soon and I can get back to bread making and such like.  For now, though, I'm still stuck at my desk, finishing things off and tidying up.

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Weather still pretty foul up here but outside work must be done, I've got waterproofs and wellies, as Billy Connolly says, "there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes!!

Hope everyone's ok, lot's happening in my life at the mo so sorry for the absence. Sometimes my offline life has to take precedence!  Laughing

Libby, how's your knee now and Becki, are you feeling better?

We have visitors on Port Eynon so been to and fro all times of day/night fishing and things.

Slept out last night it was awesome! nowt posh literally but it was blooming GREAT! With excellent company & atmosphere, a glug of home brew apple brandy who could want for more!!  Smile

Just like old times, sleeping bag floor fully clothed but comfy and just looking up at the stars and the smell of the sea was hypnotic!

Camping for the next few days now in our tent the weathers ok ish last night it was unreal we went from Sea fog and mist to like a warm summers night within an hour!

We set off some BIG Sky lanterns about 11:30 last night not a person was about just us lot and the local wildlife admireing them as they flew off into the distance over Port Eynon Rocks & Salt House! Flippin eck.  On Saturday night we decided to move the computer out of the dining room in anticipation of many social gatherings over sunday lunches the next few weeks.  One does like to be prepared.. Shocked

Aforementioned 'puter went upstairs and refused point  blank to work despite much swearing and muttering by lloyd, no.1 son and chap on helpdesk who can't talk english and clearly has no clue whatsoever...

This evening (I know not how and frankly can't be bothered to enquire!!), we are connected to the big wide world again so much to catch up with.

Hope all Potties are ok and off now for a trawl around
Very Happy

today was a moving horses day, pressure washing muck heap bays day and getting caught on the phone for more than long enough in an attempt to rehome a coupel of horses....looks like it might be a good home for them...

the day goes really quickly now that the clocks have changed though it does give me a chnace topupdate the blog a bit more often....

tomorrow is eeyore's big day ...we don't have to be there till about 10.30 and we SHOULD be finished by about 1.....perhaps we should tell eeyore that ....
