Oh ditto CP, very ditto. I have a soft spot for Sweet Williams and Nasturtiums too, as my mum always had them growing in the garden when I was a kid. I've always grown Nasturtiums in every garden I've ever had, every year . . .
Wild flowers, um, lots to choose from there too. Bluebells, because they are so stunning en masse and smell wonderful. Ramsons, because they remind me of springtime walks in Dorset, especially one particular walk on the Encombe Estate when a friend and I sat down for a rest - in a patch of Ramsons!!! Wild roses, because they are so beautiful. Violets in big clumps, wild Aquilegia which grow around the Welsh lanes. I think the overall vote has to go to Viper's Bugloss, which looks so exotic with its pink and blue flowers and was the one flower in my Observers' Book which I longed to find, but never did until I was 30 and found it on a Dorset cliff. _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/
