I'm planning to make one today, for sawing firewood, so nothing fancy. Has anyone made one before?
I have a design in the Smallholders DIY book, but it looks cumbersome. If anyone can give me a steer it would help. _________________ A woman needs to feel loved to have sex,

also drill 4 or 5 half inch holes along the top piece about 1. 1/2 inches from the sides of the top spar ./then you can drop some 5 inch x 1/2 inch bolts in to puch awkward wood against , werks for me , and wx 3 for the legs and end and 5 by 2 for the top bar , make it in light wood for wieght and use coach bolts to put it together . recycled heavy pallets make great ones _________________
Brilliant, thanks both. I have loads of old pallets, too.
