I may be barking up the entirely wrong tree here, But I have a hunch it may be psychosomatically induced, so feel good plants like Valerian or Saint Johns Wort, chopped into salads, or in sandwiches, might help?.......Certainly shouldn't harm. Wink

Don't encourage her Nanny, she's already got a million trillion different types of poultry!

Sorry to hear about the psoriasis Aggie, have you found anything in particular that triggers it off or makes it worse? I do know that it's supposed to be triggered off by stress and that it gets better or worse depending on how you're feeling. Maybe you've been worrying too much lately?

Years ago I had a particular form of it (gutate psoriasis I think it was called) caused by an allergic reaction to a streptoccocal throat infection which made me very ill.  I was covered from head to foot with awful blisters for months  Shocked

In th end I was prescribed UV treatment (had to go to outpatients and lie on a sunbed for half an hour every few days  Rolling Eyes ) - apparantly sunlight is the best treatment for psoriasis so you probably should get outside in the sunlight (yes I so know you are in Scotland!!) as often as you can.

Don't really know the medical details, might be worth doing a google search?

Hope you get it sorted soon  Smile
