Today, in the kitchen we are going to sort through all those plastic pots and containers / bags we save up.

do we need them all?  do they all have lids?  Can some be thrown away?

Do it then.

Wipe out the area they live and put back neatly.  All the lids can be stored in a big zip up bag, if you have one, or turned up and slid in a group into a pot.

Ours are all neat and tidy anyway!

phew - got out of that one!

but the front door is clean (i'm catching up), the top kitchen cupboard (we only have one) is clean, and our wardrobe is half clean - j wouldn't let me finish!

i will cough to the fact that when i cleared out the kitchen for the builders i threw a whole load of them away...i had had them for years and was never going to use them again but jus tcouldn't bring myself to do it somehow till i had a good reason

that was a hard thing to do............

The only plastic containers I keep are Vitalite margarine tubs - tremendously useful for freezing soups and sauces in, and they've got good robust lids too.

Everything else (other margarine tubs/those plastic boxes that mushrooms come in/yoghurt pots etc) gets put into a carrier hanging on the back of the larder door and every now and then, I take them to my sister who is a primary school teacher and always after such things for the basis of her craft lessons.

So I've scraped through this one without doing any work too  Very Happy

I don't suppose it'll last though.... Laughing
