2nd May

This is a busy birthday month for me, as bad as April Rolling Eyes its more than two a week for 2 months? What happens 9 months ago? Oh of course summer holidays, wish people would keep there legs crossed Laughing

Got loads done in the garden yesterday, both on the veg plot and round and about. I'm after bark chippings at the mo and lots of it, anyone know of any that does not cost the earth????

Wish I had a bigger garden, I would have a go at letting one of the hens sit on some eggys. Babs my black hen goes broody so she would do a great job!

Looks dry at the mo so must get on!!!

morning

Libby - you sound very chipper. I think they do 3 bags of chippings for £10 at homebase, still not that cheap, though.

CP - when do you start the new job?

Kathy - I think j still needs his nap, he was very tired for the afternoon. i can't believe coco stopped napping so yound, what a nightmare!

yes, we're up early today. j is waving to me from his highchair in between eating his cereal and raisins.

haven't managed to do much cleaning this week, other than clean the skirting and doors in the hall/landing. oh well, bank holiday weekend and then t's only in work for 2 days as he's off again thurs and fri.

no idea what we're doing today!

My youngest never really slept at all through the day and didn't do much sleeping at night until she was 3 years old.....

Morning all  Very Happy

It's a beautiful day here today - another proper barefoot day, providing we don't get a rainstorm like yesterday!  It absolutely pelted down for about 10 minutes, flooding the car park at work, and then the sun came out again.  Most odd!

I've been swimming this morning so I'm at my desk until 3.45 or thereabouts the home for an early supper and back out for a shift at the restaurant at 6.00.  Hope I'm on the bar again!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy
Kathy

Morning everyone, just been having a fight with my email account. I've got a new email address now so anyone with my old Wanadoo address PM me and I'll give you my new one.  Smile

The sun is shining so a bit of gardening then preparations for E's party tomorrow. She had us all up VERY early this morning, 7 yrs old already!

TGM, what happened to your foot, I don't remember if you posted about it before.

Have a good day everyone.  Very Happy
nanny

what a beautiful day .....

off we went before 9 leaving the groom on her own but it was mr nanny's day off and he had a trim booked and we had shopping etc to do

we had lunch at the botanical gardens and in the process renewed our yearly membership....lovely place and the lunches are nice

then it was shopping in carmarthen and to tesco and home via llandovery (the long way round) where we ended up in the garden centre so i could get my canes for the beans etc

home by 3.30 and after goats and dogs i did two of the three panels i made yesterday while mr nanny attempted to attach the louvre frame for the top window of the greenhouse to the glass and ......broke the glass....

much swearing and cursing and he disappeared inside....my suggestions were not welcome and i carried on alone for a while

i have suggested i try to do it on my own as i have more time than him but all i got was a grumble so i don't think i will suggest it again

oops Mr Nanny!!!

Another day shuffling paper for me but now its Three Days At Home  Very Happy  Very Happy

For those that have asked and I haven't answered, my new job is working for a very small company who provide care in the community for disabled people.  They are now planning on branching out into support for the elderly so are setting up a brand new office, hence my new job as Office Manager there.

Care of the elderly at home is something very close to my heart so I hope that my work will make a real difference to people in need.

I start 2nd June.  Oh, did I mention that I will be Lloyd's boss? Laughing

Kathy

Laughing  Laughing I love it CP and await the photos of your new goats with bated breath!

Men are very strange when they do something wrong aren't they Nanny, and why don't they like us suggesting things to make it better?

Have prepared what I can for E's party tomorrow, just the day with hordes of young children to get through. She was supposed to have a camping night with her Mum but the heavens opened as they were putting the tent up. Back home they came, very wet. Mum went out instead and I played with E, she said she didn't think much of this camping lark!  Laughing

Better get some shut eye now, sleep well everyone.  Smile
