Its bright, cold and breezy. I am feeling the cold at the mo but probably cos I can't move around so much.

T had a brilliant first day at college, came back and didn't stop talking for 2 hours  Shocked

Morning all  Very Happy

It's wet and miserable here this morning - I got soaked when I was out with the dogs - again!  Now I'm stuck at my desk until 5pm - I came in a little bit late because I don't have to go home at lunchtime today.

Thank goodness it's Friday - I need a quiet weekend to get on with some sewing  Laughing

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Morning all, couldn't get E to school, our road is flooded, the henhouse has water running out the door, the back porch is leaking and we found another toad in the dogs room.  Shocked  Laughing

Never mind, I've lit the fire, done some overdue cleaning and am crafting now.

Good idea Libby, using the shopping trolley, you obviously have better weather than me down there!

Hi all.

I hope everyone hasn't been blown away.
I went for a ride today because I have been feeling a little down and have ridden for a couple of days so wondered if that was why. I have to say it was very eventful, I went out on my own and it's very windy, then it started raining and then someone had put some very scary tyres on the ground. It was quite funny though, spinning round on top of a hill Laughing

Off to work soon oh joy Laughing

Crumbs Becki - I know that of course you do, but please reassure me that you take your mobile with you when you ride on your own...
nanny-now and forever

hello all

we had sun for most of the day then just about 5.30 there was a bit of a shower but nothing else today

kathy and aggie i feel for you both, i really do...it just gets so very depressing after a while doesn't it?

while mr nanny and another volunteer got on with everything front of house, i spent most of the day upstairs finding photographs for a little girl who wants to put a book together for her school  to raise funds for the trust...not so easy as it sounds i have to say.....the little girl wants groups and of course horses don't stand in straight lines like they do in schools...once i found some i also had to write a few lines about the animals...i didn't get many done i am afraid but she has some to start with...

someone came to have a look at a pony to rehome so subject to a home visit another one can go out now to help relieve the pressure here...we still can't take any new ones in yet though, still overstocked....

mr nanny is off to trim 3 tomorrow, i won't go and hopefully the weather will be good enough for me to play outside and perhaps have a go at lopping the grass off a bit before it really gets too long...i think it is slowing down anyway
Becki

Yes lizzie I do take my mobile LOL x
