A bit about meHi,
I'm 14 years old and really would like an allotment. I'm making the most out of what I can get including free food (Blackberries, elderberries, mushrooms, nettles etc.) I have a few tubs, this year I've been growing Tomatos, Strawberries and Chillies.
I also have two chickens in a wonderful green eglu, in which I enjoy taking 2 eggs from daily. They can be great fun.
I also have 3 rabbits all in a green rabbit eglu.
In my bedroom I currently have 4 fertile eggs in a homemade incubator!

My goodness you are a busy person aren't you. Where will you put all the chickens if they hatch out?
I do so hope that they are not cockrells - unless you live in the middle of nowhere
You are clever collecting mushrooms - I wouldn't know which ones to collect.
It is nice to see someone with a great interest in things - so you get it from your parents I wonder.

Hello Martin and welcome to the potting shed. I'm moving this post to our welcome section as this is the place where we welcome all our new members and by posting in this section you're sure to get a very warm welcome.
I think you'll be very much at home here as quite a few members have eglu's, I'm beginning to feel quite deprived never having owned an eglu Hatching your own chicks sounds very exciting, how long have they been in your incubator for now?
