As promised!
I've had a sneak preview of the chocolate cake, hope there's some left............

Starter

Guacamole served with Tortilla Chips
A traditional avocado-based Aztec dish prized for its high vitamin content

or
Sweet paprika and Pumpkin Soup
Served with fresh bread
Pumpkins are a special hallmark of Mexican food

Main course
Chayote in a cinnamon spiced tomato sauce
Served with sweet potato mash
A traditional market day food, served between the stalls to feed hungry shoppers

or
Enchilada
Soft flour tortilla stuffed with refried beans, cheese, and salsa and topped with a rich tomato sauce.
Indigenous people living in the lake region of the Valley of Mexico traditionally ate corn tortillas folded or rolled around small fish, it has been adapted over the years into its present form

Spiced double chocolate cake
Chocolate…a must have ingredient in the world of Mexican eating

Platanos Machos
Fried bananas marinated in a rich lemon, orange and cinnamon sauce.
Served with ice cream.

All dishes are vegan with exception of cheese on enchilada; please ask if you want it omitted. Ice cream is also available dairy free, please ask for when ordering

mmmm - as usual. all sounds lovely.

i'll have the soup, can't decide on the mains, so I reckon I'll have a bit of both.

Had to google Chayote - in case anyone else was wondering, it's a squash.
