Aloe Vera

After picking up a piping hot iron with both hands trying to work out where to pour in water for steam (forgetting that I had already switched it on Rolling Eyes ), my left hand was quite fried last night.

I have had it wrapped in very thin slivers of fresh aloe vera all last night and today. This evening, the blistering and pain has almost all vanished.

Good stuff.

Ouch CP, just as well you had the Aloe Vera. I haven't grown any for a while but do keep the gel in the house. I'll have another go with a plant when we move (the things I'm going to do "when we move"!)

i have 6 young plants growing on a windowsill........all crammed together in one pot....bought them from a DIY store....i potted on 4 and they have galloped away and are very strong looking....the other 6 are a bit slower, so next week i will pot them on too......
