An evening out

I figure this comes under "going wild". The young ones all decided to go to a beautiful place called Rumbling Bridge yesterday evening. They took wood, tarpaulin, food and a frying pan. Most of them had a swim and the irish chap even braved the rapids. Lovely for me to see the photos, so much better than hanging about pubs and clubs. Here are a few:

they look like they are having a great time

looks like someone is having an alcoholic drinky poohs in the last drink but that would be to keep out the cold presumably
Kathy

Oh yes of course, they would need warming up after that!

i suppose i would have done that at their age but now i prefer a hot bath, a good book and a wee dram to warm me up
Kathy

They tried to get me to go with them, I declined naturally. Laughing

My son was envious of the white water plunge! He and his friends are going camping this weekend, locally, and that usually involves swimming in our river, and also an after-midnight Hunting game - a sort of hide-and-seek in the dark! As you said, far better than hanging round the streets (not that we have any where we are anyway . . .)
