And then there were 5.......................

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

A mercy mission this evening, meet a teensy  fat sausage, Spot.

From the Springer spaniel rescue (search me, I know he's not a springer:? ) he's got the tiniest legs and is as wide as he is tall, an amiable little chap, got on well with all the dogs, 20 mths old and looking for his forever home.    Smile
Jellycat

uh-oh!

You're not really expecting him to leave again are you Kathy?

He's rather gorgeous...Ozzy looks as if he's saying 'Oh go on - pleeeeease can we keep him?'  Laughing
Aqui

awww. he's cute.

i wish we were closer!

Lovely little terrier! We have two of them, both rescue dogs.Would'nt be home without them now!
Kathy

Looks like he's found his home.............................Rolling Eyes

Just accept it the inevitable Laughing

ha

you are worse than we are

but then you have a bigger house than we have so therefore more space to expand

you'll have the stallion in there sitting on mr kathy's lap next

i love it when a plan comes together
Jojo

Lovely little dog Kathy, where did he come from and why?
Kathy

Not sure of his history Jojo, he came from the borders via NESSR. He was with a family who were expecting another baby, said he was too much. Rosie is usually quite a witch with other dogs but she just loves him!

Nanny, you'll laugh on the other side of your face when you've got 10 greyhounds! The funny thing is, Mr Kathy isn't an animal person at all, he puts up with them because of us, never thought I'd see a Jack Russell in his lap, I've not sat there for years.................
Cabbagepatch

There is a hound out there for everyone and they look very happy together.

And such a little chap isn't taking up much space is he  Laughing  Laughing
Kathy

Rolling Eyes You're as bad as the rest of them, although I have to say he's quite an engaging little chap, was never very keen on terriers, not sure why they keep landing up here...........................
Cabbagepatch

i love terriers, they have such naughty personalities and are the best of both worlds.  fun, energetic but always ready for a cuddle on the sofa.

toffee is getting more and more stubborn the older she gets and its so funny watching her put saflets firmly in her place!!!

i think i should run a terrier rescue centre........
lloyd

With terriers being so small, surely you have room for a few more, Kathy?
coco331

I'm on the case Lloyd  Wink  Laughing

Spot is now officially part of the Russell family, that didn't take long.... Max is still here too, but he's very special, and doesn't want to leave either.... unless a very very very special home is found for him. Mind you I have to leave some room for the other foster dogs, although I suppose there is plenty space here, you hardly even notice five dogs racing around the house

lloyd

Yep, go for it!....Can't have too many dogs. Wink
nanny

totally agree

trouble is you still have to have the space for dog beds and we seem to have run out of that

saw a cracker of a dog the other day - didn't need a home or i might have offered to be honest

10 month old basset hound/cocker spaniel cross

a cocker spaniel face on a basset body with the biggest ears i have ever seen and completely black with those silly basset hound legs

i fell in love

perhaps that is the answer CP...terrier rescue

i am sure lloyd would be behind you all the way with that one

or goat rescue of course....
lloyd

i like the idea of boat rescue.........
Kathy

What a wonderful description of a dog Nanny, sounds absolutely unique!  Laughing

Coco, go to your room.............................
