Ooh now there's a good idea...
Bovey Belle

I have various stuff in the pipeline. I'm going to make fleece hats for my great nephews and nieces this year, applique cat wall hangings for my daughters' rooms away at Uni, finish off my son's blues and white quilt for him, and I dare say there will be other things being made too. Cushions are always a good idea.

I like the sound of the applique cat wall hanging. Any pics or patterns we could see please Very Happy

The pattern is in this month's Popular Quilts (think that's what it's called, I don't buy it regularly). They are really sweet!

Is that the November issue with the pumpkin in the bottom left corner?
Bovey Belle

It's Popular Patchwork and it did have a pumpkin (on a black background I think) on the cover. Open it up and there should be some applique pussums! Might get started on those tonight - the designing and cutting out bits anyway.
Libby

Right just making sure I get the right one! Thanks

You are all industrious - photos please xxx

Well, I abandoned the original pussy cat wall hangings, as the first one I tried just didn't work out (wrong materials I think). However, I have quilted about pre-printed cushion covers and a wallhanging, and still have other things in the pipeline. Also a couple of patchwork cushion covers, It's down to the making up into cushion covers now etc.

That's sound great BB where do you get your pre printed panels - on the net or local.
Bovey Belle

Some I bought locally, some I got in a swop. They do turn up on the net as well. I think the chicken ones (think you'd like these Lottie!) were about £2 a panel. They look lovely quilted up.

Chickens did you mention chickens Very Happy

You are right of course - I am a chicken nut Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Do a search for them on e-Bay if you don't have a patchwork shop that close (panels like that are usually on offer in patchwork or general sewing shops).

Will do thanks
