Any good ideas for removing limescale.

I feel ashamed. I always thought that my bathroom was reasonable clean, but have had a soak in the bath this evening, and saw all the grubby areas at lower levels. We have very hard water here, and it leaves a strange brown residue every where. Have tried various products with not much success, any good ideas.
Have got to get it done soon as Son No1 is coming down with the girlfriend, and parents(whose house is pristine).

White vinegar is good, and what we usually use.

If you want a shop bought I think the product is limeaway, but you must check the type of material you are using it on, with plastics, enamal etc

We have pretty soft water where we are so it's not such a problem, but I'd agree with the vinegar.

Try not to worry about this - they're coming to see you, not inspect your housework. Laughing
