Artist Trading CardsAnyone making them on the forum?
these are for a swap called, 'I can't draw a face' you have to hide the face with something.
The example they gave was a cartoon character with huge binoculars to hide the face.
These are my efforts.
Matt black painted back board - and pen and ink drawing with gold painted hair pins and pattern on the fan.
Joining in the host's cartoon type theme, and as I am reading a book with the story set in Rome - I painted a Sci-fi female soldier - the helmet is gold in 'real life' and so too the face visor - that's gold and silver and really shines.
Bottom left - a deep sea diver with a luminous face mask.
Lastly - chain mail again painted silver - with a full face visor with just slits where they looked out and one for the mouth to breath! Watercolour painted background - painted several times to make it look like red velvet.
Nice messing around with paints

My daughter in law bought me some stamps whilst she was in Japan so I am trying them out.

You are SO artistic Lottie - I wish I had the time to try my hand at something similar. However, I am doing LOTS of sewing right now (Christmas presents), so I mustn't complain. My "spare" time in the evenings isn't being wasted.

Now I would love to have the patience to sew - and those patchwork quilts you are doing - and those wonderful bags you made last year.
There are so many crafts I would love to do - but never get enough time to fit them all in BB!

That's the problem I agree Lottie - so many things to try - but with Christmas on the horizon I need to try and get all the pressies done first. Having said that, I have started a beautiful Log Cabin quilt and need to get some more blocks of that done. I think it takes 36 for a king size quilt.
