Setters are red, Bloodhounds are blue,
Spaniels are sweet, Boxers are, too.
Rotties are big, Yorkies are small,
Dachshunds are short, Great Danes are tall.
Labs come in black and brown and yellow
Pointers are hyper and Goldens are mellow.
Beagles love kids and Chows do not, Dalmatians are always easy to spot.
Greyhounds are swift and pugs are slow,
Akitas like warmth and Huskies like snow.
Collies are Lassies, Schnauzers get snarky
Terriers can be annoyingly barky.
Shepards are smart and Poodles are, too
Watch out – that puppy just took your shoe!
Bassets, Pointers, St. Bernards, Maltese,
Shih Tzus, Bulldogs, Weimies, Poms, Wolfhounds, Bichons, Corgis, Dobermans
Vizslas, Havanese, Pekinese, so many more
