you don't have to be to have your heart strings pulled

berry had been bought by a farmer as a foal for his grand children who said they wanted a pony but when they saw her she wasn't the kind they wanted so they didn't bother....the pony stayed on the farm and though not abused as such was ignored or pushed around and often shut in a tin shed about 10 ft square that was never mucked out....eventually she came to the attention of a lady who fed her and seeing the farmer was completely uninterested and looking to get rid of her somehow, any how, contacted us in a panic that the animals might be slaughtered  or "dealt with"......she took possession of the animal from the farmer and then in the truck signed her over to the trust....the pony  was really nervous, unhandled and very, very wary of men....mr nanny spent a lot of time with her and well....you saw the result
