Boy meets girlWe took Maggie over to our friends yesterday (see post in daily thread). She has 2 nice stallions (Grandfather is Sadlers Wells) and we chose the apaloosa Harvey. Maggie went into the field first then we bought Harvey down. He didn't even see her at first, then, he shot across the field and literally leapt on her.  "WELL EXCUSE ME" she yelled followed by several hearty smacks to the chest. Harvey slunk off and decided to rethink his approach. "Hmmm might be better if I say hello first."  Our watchdog lady (her cottage overlooks the field) has been watching them and says "aye, there wis a fair wee bit o action last nicht!"

It's all going well, Maggie is showing scuff marks and they both look contented.
Hopefully this means our very own foal next year instead of always looking after someone elses!
