Bread rolls from breadmaker...

As Master Sparhawk & I have finally cracked the wholemeal loaf in the breadmaker (we are on a loaf a day) I would now like to venture into rolls does anyone have a proven recipe for reasonably light wholemeal rolls that I can use, I vaguely remember from my school days that if you brush them with salty water they go crusty...

Yes they do go crusty, but only a light brushing.  As for a recipe, look in the books that come with the maker, or I have a book that you can look at.  I make white rolls but have not done wholemeal rolls.  Chef

presumably if you have a dough cycle, once it finishes you just divide up the dough and let it rise again

i have done them and french bread that way and it works.....

Thanks for the answers, Very Happy ,

Pol, you know how much hair I've pulled out getting the perfect loaf recipe which the only comparisons to the one in the makers book are the words: water, flour, yeast & sugar...

Nanny, thanks for that suggestion I just wondered if anybody had one that worked so that we may have a different flavour...
