T bought me a lovely book of bread recipes. Trouble is, most of them are for white bread. I prefer to use at least half wholemeal flour. Can I just do that? Put in half white and half wholemeal? Or do I need to do anything else to the recipe?
And does anyone (Kathy?) have a good recipe for spelt rolls? We'll probably have leftovers burgers at the weekend and I want to make spelt rolls.

Mr Kathy bakes it using a leaven sponge thing but this is my basic recipe and it works fine!
2 tsps dried yeast (Doves Farm)
4 cups of wholemeal spelt flour
1 tsp salt
1 tblesp oil
1 3/4 cups of water approx.
Mix everything together and knead till elastic, shape into rolls, then prove till doubled in size. Bake at 190 for approx 20mns, depending on oven.
