I was wondering if anyone had tried to make Bubblebath?
I was standing in Asda buying the cheapest I could find, but then started thinking of animal testing etc. Just thought I'd ask

I haven't made my own, but I have seen the base bubble bath for sale at the soap kitchen, then you add the oils, fragrances and colours you want. Never bought it myself so don't know what's in it or whether or not it's tested on animals. I've made my own bath oils but those don't bubble.

I haven't made any as I always shower.
Is it bubbles for the little ones or bubbles for the grown - ups?

Becki - sorry book's at home and sadly I'm not.
It was something like:
2 cups liquid soap (american book)
6 cups water
and something else. (maybe some essential oil or something?)
I will try to remember to bring it in after easter and post it.

Becki, I found this
http://www.naturalfamilyonline.com/1-nb/410-bubble-bath.htm
I'm trying to figure out what gives the bubble bath it's bubbles, would it be the glycerine? I'm not sure, but I've got all the basic ingredients here at home so I'll make up a batch and let you know if it's satisfactorily bubbly

nope, those recipes don't work, well not for me at least. I made it up according to instructions except I made a much smaller quantity. Put some into a sink of water, a few bubbles appeared but very quickly popped and disappeared.

Becki it doesn't work, there were very few bubbles and they lasted only seconds.
