Carnivorous Plants...

Well I gone and done it again... the otherday I found yet another stupidly marked "sell by label"  Shocked

I know quite abit about Carnivorous Plants, the only thing I do know about gardening/plants Laughing  and there's totally nothing wrong (except for the need of re potting) of two Venus Fly Traps I found in the garden centre  Surprised  £3:99 reduced to 49p  Very Happy
They look slightly scraggy but that's because their about to flower

Below are some pictures of our other meat eaters we have at the moment. I used to have a big collection but having to start it again, so I'm on the look out for Sundews and other variaties of Pitchers at the moment  Very Happy

Above pics taken september they constantly flowered until january  Shocked )

I'm hoping to erm... convince the OH it's a really good idea to go to the garden centre today... just to look at stuff of course  Wink It won't be because I spotted a "Nepenthes Ventricosa" at all obviously

Laughing Libby your psychic!!! I was going to ask folks about our latest experiment planting some baby pitchers by our pond and if it would work.

Thanks for the above advice a trip to the garden centre is a must now!
We've got yellow flag iris and a strange creeping mint (will post pic later to see if anyone knows wich type) in the "bog garden" at the moment with enough space for a pitcher, I'm woundering if a Sundew would fair well in there as well, if I get a more native species one?
