carrots!picked the first of my carrot crop yesterday and ime chuffed! no sighn of carrot fly as ive done a bit of companion planting!

lucky you fish, mine get destroyed every year by the dreaded carrot fly, even with companion planting and covering with fleece. this year I'm trying growing them in a large dustbin, hopefully the carrots will be high enough off ground level to escape their attack.
