Chickens eating eggs??Does anyone know if this happens and why??
I thought we had a problem with softshelled eggs but that might not be the case, I think one of the chooks is having a sneaky peck! I wonder how you stop it?? Any ideas?

Do they have enough oyter shell? It really does help with hardening the shells If you have a persistant egg-eater, the best thing I've tried is to fill an eggshell with a mixture of flour, water, curry powder and mustard! They hate the taste and should be put off for a while!

There is oyster shell in there but you can't make them eat it can you! Silly birds!!
One of ours, and we still don't know which one has always laid soft shelled eggs, I say always but thats not strictly true, she has phases
I'm intrigued how you fill an egg with the flour mix?? Excuse me if its me being a bit dumb
